ahh relief at last in the form of speed. the card game I mean. they love it and Im so proud I practically told them I invented it. You cannot know the feeling of accomplishment that I got from teaching a game that they find extremely entertaining being that 95% of my suggestions get shot down, point blank. Today has been good.
In other news, I just finished the book ¨Foriegn Babes in Beijing¨ and it´s uncanny how closely I feel I can relate to the writer of this book despite the fact that her memoir centers on her move to China after graduating college and her 5 year-long experience which includes a 20-something episode Chinese soap opera aptly titled ¨Foreign Babes in Beijing.¨ She describes how, by living in a foreign country, her personality modified itself to her social situations, for example she could no longer say no to anyone. As a visitor she felt an obligation to bend to the will of her co-workers, landlords, etc. She said she wanted to reach out and hug every American she encountered, and realized through experience that even abroad an American is still as much a stranger as anyone else. She described the way in which language is the key to understanding a culture and how, like a puzzle, only until you´ve assembled the pieces can you actually understand what you see.
I met a blonde-haired, blue-eyed Juan yesterday. so strange.

Umm, I think you're kinda slacking in the posting department. Stop sailing on yachts and wearing designer clothes for a few minutes and TYPE SOMETHING!
